Health Management

Yoga poses provide the capacity to safeguard our body against illness and enhance our ability to thrive in today's competitive world. Hatha Vidya offers courses that combine ancient knowledge with modern medical science to provide therapeutic applications. Our health management courses encompass Pre Natal and Post Natal Yoga, as well as Chandrayanam, a program specifically designed for weight loss.

Pre Natal & Post Natal Yoga

Parental Yoga is a multifaceted approach which involves stretching and focuses on breathing. Gentle stretching often relieves many of the common discomforts during pregnancy, while specific postures help to be moms prepare for labor.

Postnatal Yoga program is designed to be safe after childbirth as it is focused on muscles used in labor. It enables mothers to reconnect with the vital energy, core strength, and inner balance.

Chāndrayanam

Chāndrayanam is a lunar-based weight loss regimen. This approach is derived from ancient principles of self-discipline, which include a well-organized dietary regimen, specific physical postures called asanas, and various strategies for controlled breathing. This program has a total of 30 lessons that are subject to daily variation, corresponding to the fluctuating phases of the moon. Individuals who are able to consistently engage in the planned 30 classes can experience significant weight loss and complete regeneration. Only discipline and devotion are necessary for the practice.

There are two ways of practicing Chandrayanam.

Pipeelika (Ant) - The cycle goes between the Full Moon – New Moon – (ends with the next) Full Moon

Yavam (Barley) - The cycle goes between the New Moon – Full Moon – (ends with the next) New Moon

Chandrayanam

Chandrayanam

Chandrayanam, is our unique and traditional rejuvenation program, that draws up the ancient principles. This weight loss program harnesses the power of lunar cycles to promote holistic health and fitness. Designed to facilitate internal cleansing of the body and mind, Chandrayanam unfolds over the course of a lunar cycle.

This gentle yet effective approach is ideal for those seeking a comprehensive wellness package that enhances biochemical balance, alleviates stress, and reduces pain.

At Haṭha Vidyã, Chandrāyaṇam is approached as a contemplative discipline rather than a quick solution, allowing practitioners to reconnect with ancient practices of austerity, conscious living, and holistic well-being.
