Yoga Therapy

Foundation Course on Yoga Therapy

Hatha Yoga is a discipline that focuses on completely purifying the body, resulting in therapeutic benefits as a secondary outcome. It serves as a means to achieve personal enlightenment and is also an essential practice for maintaining good health. In hindsight, it has proven to be efficacious in eradicating numerous diseases and abnormalities.

Yoga Therapy works in four dimensions:

Preventive
Curative
Adjuvant
Palliative

This course is divided into two segments of 8 months each –

The curriculum for our 'Yoga Therapy' program has been carefully crafted to preserve the integrity of the conventional method. This course does not aim to instruct on the treatment of individuals with illnesses. Instead, it offers an enlightening method to help teachers effectively manage students who have various ailments, challenges, and situations while they are engaged in postures or practicing.Three distinguished Indian luminaries will be joining our teaching faculty as guest lecturers. They, along with Acharya Bala, will collectively provide guidance to the students, helping them grow from one phase to another. The Yoga Therapy courses we provide are approved by Yoga Alliance International, enhancing the credentials of any Yoga Teacher who completes them.

Course Duration & Schedule

The foundation course lasts for a duration of 8 months, equivalent to 500 hours, and consists of 32 weekend sessions. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in daily practice sessions on weekdays.

Suitability and Considerations for this Course

Prior completion of our 300-hour Foundation and 500-hour Advanced Teacher Training is required in order to enroll in the 500-hour Foundation Level Yoga Therapy course.
