The Hatha Vidya ancient School of Yoga was founded with the purpose of spreading precise and authentic knowledge of yoga worldwide. Its objective is to preserve and enhance the ancient techniques of Hatha Yoga.
Adi Nath, the initial sound, is the progenitor of the Hath Yogic tradition. This lineage has not approved or validated any yoga practices. Due of its applicability to every individual in the human race, it can be considered universal, comprehensive, and inclusive of all.
The main approach for instructing Hath Yogic techniques has traditionally used the oral transmission of knowledge from the Guru to the trainee, also known as the Shishya. Only a limited quantity of manuscripts and shastras, which are classical texts, have been preserved throughout history, including information about parts of its practices. However, these texts are scattered throughout multiple sources.
